kejap je solat....

betul ker? cuba kaji balik secara mendalam..

Dalam sehari kita diwajibkan bersolat 5 waktu.

Subuh (2 rakaat), Zohor (4), Asar (4), Maghrib (3) dan Isyak (4). Jadi berapa rakaat kita solat setiap hari?

Jawapannya 17 rakaat.

Ok, berapa lama masa kita ambil sehari utk bersolat bagi setiap waktu?

Katakanlah setiap rakaat kita ambil masa 2 minit, darab 17 rakaat bersamaan 34 minit.
So, jumlah sehari bersamaan 24 jam. Cuma 34 minit sahaja kita perlu menyembahNya!

Tolak 10 tahun, iaitu masa kita awal akil baligh, bermakna tinggal 50 tahun usia kita betul?

Hadis Nabi saw menyatakan bahawa:

2.        Golongan orang-orang tua : kerana pengalamannya diperlukan dalam membimbing usaha-usaha orang dewasa ( Nabi mahukan semangat orang muda digabungkan dengan pengalaman orang tua.)

3.       Golongan orang-orang kaya: supaya orang-orang kaya mampu member sumbangan untuk menjalankan kerja-kerja dakwah ( membuat projek etc)

Akhirulqalam,
Mendidik seorang lelaki bererti anda mendidik seorang individu, mendidik seorang wanita pula sebenarnya anda sedang mendidik sebuah generasi.... renung-renungkan dan selamat beramal

parents...

Pencil: I'm sorry
Eraser: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.
Pencil: I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.
Eraser: That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though one day, I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :)

I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational. Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way... they get hurt, and become smaller (older, and eventually pass on).

Though their children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.

"All my life, I've been the pencil.. And it pains me to see the eraser that is my parents getting smaller and smaller each day.

For I know that one day, all that I'm left with would be eraser shavings and memories of what I used to have..."

think positive

Lalu si suami menyuruh si isteri membelah tembikai kedua pula.

Isteri: "Dari mana petani tu dapat tembikai pulak bang?"

Suami: "Mestilah dia tanam! Takkan tu pun nak bagitau."

Isteri: "Macam mana dia tanam bang?"

Suami: "Dia pakai benih tembikai la. Takkan benih jagung!"

Isteri: Dalam hati (Kerek jugak suami aku ni). "Siapa yang buat benih tembikai tu bang?"

Suami: "Mestilah Allah yang ciptakan."

Isteri: "Jadi...Betullah abang marahkan Allah yer? Abang nak marah apek, dia cuma menjual tembikai sahaja. Abang nak marahkan petani, dia cuma menanamnya aja. Jadi, abang sebenarnya marahkan Allah kerana Dia yang menciptakannya."

Suami: (Terdiam)

Daripada Muawiyah r.a berkata: "Aku mendengar Rasulullah bersabda":

be aware of your TONGUE

Many ahadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) have warned us against letting the tongue be free, yet we still find amongst us many struggling to leave back-biting, slander, swearing, cursing, lying and all those traits which are not befitting for the character of a Muslim.
This Ramadan is an opportune time for you to restrain your tongue just as you restrain your body from food and drink and its desires.
Here are some tips to control your tongue and gain the most of your fasting, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (ie. Allah will not accept his fasting.)” [Bukhari]

1. Leave that which does not concern you

The first tip to master is to leave that which does not concern you. Don’t enquire about something that is not necessary like what someone else may have said or done wrong.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “From the excellence of a man’s Islam is leaving that which does not concern him.” [Bukhari]

shh2. Remember ‘Silence is golden’

Before you speak, start by asking yourself a few questions: 1. Will this benefit or harm? 2. Is it necessary? Often it takes this mere moment of reflection to identify whether your speaking is necessary or useless. And as the proverb goes: ‘If talk is silver then silence is gold’.
[You can write this and hang it up on your desktop at work!]

3. Conceal faults of others

Covering the faults of others is part of the virtue of safeguarding the honour of Muslims.
Once the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked: “O Messenger of Allah, which of the Muslims is best?” And he said, “He who the Muslims are safe from his tongue and his hand.” [Riyadh as-Saliheen]
We’re quick to disclose others’ faults and conceal our own, yet we should remind ourselves of the time when we would wish our faults would be concealed. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever conceals (the fault of) a Muslim, Allah will conceal his fault on the day of Judgment.” [Muslim]
Our society is filled with many rumours that create disunity as well as animosity so always presume good of others and be part of the solution.

4. Eliminate unproductive ‘chit-chat’

chitchatWe are all culprits of talking rubbish at times, yet as Muslims we know that Allah is always listening to us. Ask yourself what topics often come up in your conversation? Are they about matters which would be pleasing to Allah? or are they just about worldly matters and boastfulness?
We have to ensure it is not always the latter, instead discuss topics that are beneficial, it may be social awareness, about a hadith you have learned, about Muslims who need help. Often I plan mentally in advance what I may say to someone new I am meeting, or consider topic areas of interest we may discuss at gatherings.

5. A slip of the tongue?

Our societies are fragmented and our families sadly ‘not on talking terms’ (See How to Rebuild Kinship Ties this Ramadan) because someone said something without thinking or in a heated moment. We know from the narration of the Prophet (peace be upon him) it is prohibited to stop talking to one who has displeased us for more than 3 days; yet some Muslims go years on end without talking to relatives/family members despite the curse incurred as a result of cutting off such relationships. Often it occurs on the basis of what can be a ‘slip of the tongue’ – so take it upon yourself to say sorry if you wronged someone or forgive them if it was a slip of the tongue.

6. Don’t spend your ‘Free Minutes’ on Talk Talk

Our social culture and major mobile corporation networks tell us that conversing is ‘free’ so we should take advantage of it – but every minute comes at a big price to your deen, dunya and akhirah. Check what your going to say is beneficial and the time spent- otherwise you just fall into the trap of talking without any meaningful purpose.
Cut out your talking time after iftaar and whilst your fasting and don’t let a minute be wasted. Instead, use those minutes to see how your family are, call to speak to those who you have not been in touch with for a while and get in touch with others to invite them to good. Allah (Subahanahu Wa Ta’la] says in Surah Al-Asr: ‘Verily by time, man is in loss, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, and recommend one another to the truth, and recommend one another to patience’ [103: 1-4]

5. Evaluate how much time you’ve spent talking

Here’s an experiment to try for one day: Equipped with a timer, keep a tab on how many hours/minutes you speak each day, ideally per topic you cover as well. Then at the end of the day, evaluate your results looking at total time spent talking, how many hours/minutes spent on productive talk vs. unproductive talk, etc. The results can be revealing.

6. Sponsored Silence

We all know a friend or two who has the ‘gift of the gab’ as they say, or you might be thinking “that’s me!” – try a sponsored silence day this ramadan! Where you don’t talk to anyone from dawn to sunset (Facebook barred too!). You can raise for a cause and learn a new trick (how not to talk..) which can help you to reflect on exactly how useful silence is. Indeed the prophetic teachings tell us that we should remain silent especially if we do not have anything good to say: “Anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day, should speak good words or be silent” [An-Nawawi].

7. Check before you send!

With the advent of technology, our conversations have evolved such that we ‘speak’ to people via email conversation, skype, teleconferences, mobile, video messaging, facebook, twitter etc. The speed of it all makes us sometimes hit the send button before we evaluate what we have to say.
Here’s a quick tip to avoid this:
1. For e-mails, save the message in draft and read after one hour before you send it.
2. For Instant Messaging, switch to something else (a small 10 minute task for example) then switch back and see if you still want to hit the send button. Always check before you send!

8. Replace the bad with good

One way to atone for any slandering/lying/backbiting is identifying who you spoke about wrongly, and either seek their forgiveness this Ramadan (or if this will cause more animosity), mention them well and praise them in the same circles of people you use to slander/lie/back-bite them in.

9. Mention the Name of Allah (Subahanahu WaTa’la)

Make it your habit to make mention of Allah (Subahanahu WaTa’la) in your conversations. Without this there is little protection from falling into the traps of shaytan and us losing control of our tongues. Every word we say will be held to account, and as Ibn Qayyum Al Jawziyyah says: “Every gulp of air that goes out in a cause other than the cause of Allah (Subahanahu Wa Ta’la) will turn to sorrow and regret on the Day of Judgement.” Don’t let your speech be the source of regret in the Hereafter and as the hadith says: “Make your tongue moist with remembrance of Allah”.

10. Seek protection from the Hellfire

As mentioned at the beginning of this series, our tongues are the cause of our destruction or our salvation, so protect yourself from saying that which is wrong. Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “Do you know the thing which most commonly brings people into Paradise? It is fear of Allah and good character. Do you know what most commonly brings people into Hell? It is the two hollow things: the mouth and the private parts.” [Bukhari]
I hope the above 10 ways – which are by no means the only methods of controlling one’s tongue – are of benefit, there are many other tips and tools you can come up with too – Let us know below if you have any other tips for controlling the tongue this Ramadan and beyond!

towards the end....

Bismillahirrahmannirahim....
Assalamualaikum....
today already 21 ramadhan.... we are epproaching towards the end of Ramadhan.... i feel sad because we are leaving this holy month... am i manage to see this holy month again next year? am i make use this ramadhan as useful before... am i manage to get the taqwa after going through this ramadhan as mention in ayah al-quran:

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn
[Observing Saum (fasts)] for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man, etc.), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskîn (poor person) (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you know.
(al-baqarah 2:183 &184)

i feel sad and also excited when ever its comes to the end of Ramadhan... sad because what happen within my 20 last ramadan and also excited because hopefully Allah may reward me the night of lailatul qadr.  the night which is better than 1000 month.... iand i wish that Allah fulfill my doa'... friends, lets us strive in ibadah  so that we had a chance doing as many ibadah as we can on the night of lailatul qadr...

"Seek it in Ramadan in the last ten nights. For verily, it is during the odd nights, the twenty-first, or the twenty-third, or the twenty-fifth, or the twenty-seventh, or the twenty-ninth, or during the last night." Sahih Hadith Ahmad 5:318

“Whoever stays up (in prayer and remembrance of Allah) on the Night of Qadr fully believing (in Allah’s promise of reward for that night) and hoping to seek reward (from Allah alone and not from people), he shall be forgiven for his past sins.” Sahih Hadith Bukhari / Muslim

We should strive to find this night, and then pass it in worship and obedience. If this is done for the sake of Allah, with sincerity, then all past sins will be forgiven. However, if a person misses out on worship during Laylatul Qadr they truly are a deprived person.

“The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.” 97:3 The Holy Quran

last friday i had been attended a talk for muslimat  only.... one thing that i
get from the talk is.... Allah give exactly like what we are wishing for.... indirect or direct way that's only Allah know... Allah did't give all what we want, instead, Allah gave us what we need.... Always be optimist with Allah.... Allah don't let us down because He know better...

Always pray so that Allah make us as a gratitude muslim instead of be a patient muslim.... if we wish to be a patient when ever Allah gave us test... we hope that we patient enough to face all kinds of test... and, we also wish to be a gratitude muslim....

credit to Aiman Azlan for his talk... the umah of the Prophet s.a.w is the umah of gratitude not the umah of complaining.... thanks to such a wonderful talk from him as he remind me a lot....

back to our topic just now, the  ustazah told us, why don't we pray to Allah to make us as a gratitude muslim instead of patient muslim.... if we are wishing to be patient... Allah might gave us a lot of test.... to practice patient in our life.... it is better for us to wish or pray to be a gratitude muslim.... because Allah might gave us a lot of give/nikmat inorder for us to became more gratitude....

talking bout gratitude right... i like to bring this qoute which had been taken from Aiman Azlan's facebook:

A convert brother said something like, "We take for granted our Muslim parents. We speak bad about them. Are you nuts? Allah gave you Muslim parents, unlike us." Man, I cried like a baby when he said that.

we actually doesn't realize that Allah gave us more than what we want to... we always forgot to say Alhamdulillah ... =( astagfirullah hal 'azim... o Allah forgive us.... Oh Allah, please separate me from my sins as You have separated the east from the west.

so lastly, dear friends i love you because of Allah... lets us strive to get His blessing.... amin...
